The Range of Light Group Executive Committee (ROLG ExCom) meetings are
usually the first Monday of the month at 3 pm. For details or directions
contact Brigitte (924-2140). ROLG ExCom meetings are usually held once a
month and are open to all members. You may bring or submit items for
discussion at any time.

A CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS AT LECONTE MEMORIAL LODGE, YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK
The LeConte Memorial Lodge is a 104-year-old museum, library, and visitor
center operated by the Sierra Club in Yosemite National Park. They are
looking for Sierra Club members interested in volunteering for one or two
weeks between May 1 and September 28th. Hours of operation are from 10 am -
4 pm, Weds.-Sun, and 8 - 10 pm for weekend evening programs. Volunteers
enjoy free entrance to Yosemite National Park and free camping at the group
campsite during the time they volunteer. For more information visit

COMMUNITY MEMBERS INVITED TO JOIN 2nd ANNUAL MANZANAR VOLUNTEER DAY
Saturday, May 3, 2008, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Manzanar National
Historic Site will celebrate National Park Week with its 2nd Annual
Volunteer Day. You are invited to join the Manzanar staff in a morning
outdoor work project (clearing a section of the historic camp road grid),
followed by a catered lunch, ranger programs, and a Junior Ranger program
for kids. Sign in begins at 8:30 and workday begins at 9:00. Participation
is limited so volunteers should RSVP to Park Ranger Gretel Enck, or for more
information, 760-878-2194, ext. 2713.
Also at Manzanar - Annual Pilgrimage weekend: Friday, April 25, 4-6 pm,
reception at Eastern California Museum, Saturday April 26, 12-2 pilgrimage
to the Manzanar cemetery, 4-7:30 p.m. Lone Pine High School Auditorium,
“Music Man of Manzanar” film screening, intergenerational and group
