The Great Basin Group is one of the most active hiking and snowshoe clubs in this area:
  • Full-day hikes and snow shoeing on the weekends.
  • Short conditioning hikes after work (April – October).
  • First aid trained hike leaders  (including CPR).
  • A leader and a “sweep” who ensure that slower hikers don’t get lost.  
  • An educational component on the areas visited.
