November 1 (Saturday) 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
Spooner Summit to Marlette Lake and Snow Valley Peak Loop.
Day hike from Spooner Summit, then by Spooner Lake to Marlette Lake and on to Snow Valley Peak for lunch. There should be fall color leaf display. Return on a portion of the TRT. About 12 miles RT and 2,000+ elevation gain. Learn some history of the area. ND. Leaders: T A Taro (530-2935), Donna Inversin (315-6763). Moderately Strenuous.

November 8 (Saturday) 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
El Dorado Canyon near Dayton.
Day hike is about 12 miles RT, with under 1,000 foot of elevation gain. Riparian habitat with many crossings of small stream. Lunch at the natural arch. Learn some of the history of the area. ND. Leaders: T A Taro (530-2935), Donna Inversin (315-6763). Moderate.

November 9 (Sunday) 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
Sahwave Range Hike.
We will visit the Sahwave Range east of Pyramid Lake. This seldom-visited range has beautiful granite formations, lush hidden springs, and other wilderness values. Views of the Black Rock playa. Our hike will be all cross-country for about 6-7 miles and up to 2,000 foot of gain. DL. Leaders: David von Seggern (303-8461), Ileana Tibuleac (784-6256). Moderate.

November 15 (Saturday) 8:30 AM-4:00 PM
Desert Hike in the Virginia Mountains.
Interesting rock formations, fantastic views, and great juniper trees to photograph. Hike will be approximately 8-10 miles RT and may have up to 2,000 foot of elevation gain. Mostly cross-country. Learn about this area in the Pyramid Lake region. DL. Leader: Holly Coughlin (331-7488). Moderate.

November 28 (Friday) 10:00 AM-2:00 PM
Post Turkey Day Hike.
Join us for a hike somewhere around Reno or possibly even a snowshoe at the Tahoe Meadows---dependent upon the weather. Around 5 miles round trip and 500 foot of gain. DL. Leaders: Valerie Andersen (828-0302), Grace Caudill (626-7873). Easy.

November 29 (Saturday) 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
Historic Virginia City Flume System.
The hike will be along a portion of the route of the circa 1870 wooden box flume which brought water from the Carson Range to Virginia City. About 10 miles with less than 800 foot of elevation gain. Some off-trail. High clearance 4 WD vehicle necessary, or possible ride-share. Learn some history of the area and walk off some of your Thanksgiving meal. ND.
